In support of counter-wildlife trafficking/anti-poaching activities, Nedshield developed and fielded (in Mali and Central African Republic-CAR) a variant of the Vector and Ranger mobile (android) tracking apps.

With customizable taxonomies and encrypted data collection, these apps are aimed at improving and systematizing field evidence collection (video/photo/sound) and providing accurate tracking and mapping information (2D & 3D) to the field operatives – even off-net.

The new Astus System will be released in June 2020 and be available to parks, conservation groups and anti-poaching units.

Please contact us if you would like to join our Astus testing program.
